FAQ

When planning to visit us please bear in mind that we have an outdoor facility and it would be in your best interest to dress for the weather and to not make final selections at times of rain or snow. When the slabs are wet the color becomes more intense and, in most cases, not indicative of their true natural color.

We have divided our viewing area in two, one for granite slabs and one for marble, limestone, travertine, onyx, and all other slabs. As you can see from the pictures on the home page, all slabs are resting on A-frames. Each A-frame has a tag identifying the slabs by name and block number. You will be given paper, pencil, and a clipboard to note any particular slabs that will be of interest to you.

Most frequently asked questions:

1. Do I need an appointment to visit your facility?
Answer: No. You can come anytime during our business hours Mon-Fri (8:00 – 5:00) Sat (9:00-1:00).

2. Do you have a designer on staff?
Answer: No. You can choose on your own or you can bring a friend or designer/decorator with you. In most cases, you don’t need a professional to help you choose.

3. Can you give me pricing?
Answer: No. We do not cut and install slabs. We are wholesale to the trade only. Your fabricator/contractor will give you pricing based on the slabs you select, the cutting, and the installation.

4. What do I do once I find something I like?
Answer: We will fill out a selection form recording all the details. One copy will be given to you and one copy will be faxed to your fabricator/contractor.

5. If I see something I like will you hold it?
Answer: Yes. Your fabricator is the only one that can put a hold on your slabs. The hold will be good for one week. Following the week the slabs will either be shipped to your fabricator or they will be put back into inventory.

6. Will I be able to take a sample home?
Answer: Yes, provided we have it. We have pre-cut samples for most of our stones.

7. Will all the slabs on the A-frame look different?
Answer: No. All of our slabs have been inspected and sorted by the staff into individual blocks. The outside slab represents all of the slabs behind it and it is not necessary to move slabs just to see the covered ones.

8. Will I be able to individually select my slabs?
Answer: Yes. We will gladly move them only after the following steps have been taken:

  1. 1. You have decided on a specific block of stone
  2. 2. Your fabricator has all the specifics of your selected choice. Due to the size of your selection and the specifics of your project they need to determine the quantity needed.
  3. 3. The fabricator gives us the ok to move and tag the slabs with your name.
